    Let’s face it, this item will be used infrequently but when needed, it’s needed. I have used the 1/2” x 1/2” female to female with 1/2” extension to drive the cable lift on Ram 3500 spare tire. Older vehicles have the square drive plug on differential and transmission oil levels as well. Happy with this purchase. I did give it five stars for durability based on observation of the thickness of casting not on repeated load use. All pieces are phosphatized (black) for rust inhibition and are protective oiled. Case is blow molded plastic and hinges on plastic which may fail at some point but that is an easy fix with metal hinges to suit.

    This set has been a solid addition to the box, especially for drivetrain work. I use it mostly for pulling pipe plugs on differentials, transmissions, and PTOs, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to.
